Up for auction is my 2006 Suzuki Boulevard S40. I am the original owner of this motorcycle and purchased it from Montgomery Powersports in Cincinnati, OH new as left over stock in June 2007. This motorcycle has 3,050 miles on it, with the majority from extended rides. Bike features the big-single cylinder 651cc motor mated to the rear wheel via a belt drive. This type of motor has a lot of torque and I can easily jump over 90mph with me on it (6'6" and 190lbs), however, I do not know top end speed. The belt drive provides for a very smooth ride at all rpm's. I have replaced the rear signals with smaller LED on flexible mounts, other than that it is completely stock. The mirrors are not attached in the pictures, however, I do have the stock set of mirrors that will be included in the auction. Battery and oil were replaced late last season, and I have only put about 200 miles on it this season. I have included pictures of 2 scratches on this bike. Other than those pictured, the bike is in great condition. It has been washed religiously throughout its life, and receives wax at the start and end of the season. It has always been kept in my garage and is covered in the off season. I am including the pictured lift with this auction, as I will no longer have a need for it. It originally cost $150, and makes maintenance a breeze. I am too tall for this bike, so it's time to upgrade. However, this is a great cruiser for someone who is still getting comfortable or is short in stature. Please feel free to ask any questions prior to bidding. On Sep-28-12 at 13:09:32 PDT, seller added the following information: Folks - I have received a LOT of questions regarding this bike and condition. First off, I forgot to include in the auction that I swapped the factory muffler out for one of a HD dyanglide. The muffler is not loud, probably 10-15 db louder than stock. However, please know that and retract your bid if that is an issue. Now - This bike is NOT brand new. I paid over 5k for this bike new, if you would like a new bike, please go to a dealer and be prepared to spend 5k and up. However, this bike is in excellent condition. I have posted pictures of the paint damage in this auction. Please do not show up and scrutinize a paint swirl, I advise that anyone who bids comes to look at the bike in person. Please do your homework. This is a very unique motor. It is a single cylinder 650. It is air cooled, therefore gets very warm. There have been some questions as to the burn on the exhaust. The chrome is infact tarnished, not just on the muffler but also the factory header. This motor runs very hot, with all 650cc pumping through a single header vs. a collector or manifold. If you do not know much about this motor, go online and read about it before bidding. Lastly, I will not ship this bike. If you purchase it and want it shipped, I will work with the hauler to ensure it gets to you AFTER a certified check has cleared the bank.
