1982 Corvette Stingray LS1 - 4L60e conversion project car, Frame was sand blasted & painted 5 years ago... Many new parts !!!!! Needs paint and finishing touches on drive train!! I have LOTS of NEW parts in the car but there are still lots of little things the car needs. The list of new items is below, some of the things that stand out to me that the car needs or that should be brought to a buyers attention are: Windows need adjusting, passenger side park break backing plate may have been bent slightly during assemble of the trailing arm. There is a rubbing / scraping noise when driving, I think it is the parking break shoes on the right rear trailing arm. I replaced the pistons in one of the front calipers with an aftermarket piston with o rings, consequently the car pulls to one side when breaking, I am confident that it is due to the calipers not having the exact same pistons. As I said the car runs drives and stops but is not a completed project. I moved to an apartment complex and no longer have a place to work on the car, it kills me to leave it out in the weather all year and with not imediate plans to move I have decided to sell the car. I have owned it for 8 years (it has been titled to me for about 3 years) Please look at the pictures carefully, I modified the dash to install a C-5 gauge cluster. The following gauges are working on the C-5 cluster: speedometer, tachometer, engine temp, engine oil pressure. Anything related to the BCM is not working (since a bcm is not installed in the car).... The fuel level gauge is also NOT operational.. The dash needs to be finished & upholstered or replaced. New Items: car has been driven less then 5000 since these items have been installed. The noise seams to change with engine temperature I am currently running 5w30 mobile 1 synthetic, I have not tried changing the oil weight to see if the noise changes or goes away. Wiring harness: from 2003 - 2005 GM truck 4L60E Automatic transmission: Trans has been re built with many heavy duty parts such as super servo, hardened output shaft, performance clutches, hardened steals, shift kit, z pack act.... However the car currently is not shifting properly!!!! I found several issues in the harness related to the transmission after the last attempt to tune the vehicle. These issues might be corrected with modifications to the tune however I can not guarantee the issue are in the tune. I recommend planning on replacing the harness or swapping the 4l60e for a turbo 400 depending on you plans for the car.
