1986 Honda Nighthawk in good shape. All electronics work and motor runs excellent. Front tire will need to be replaced soon. Only issue I can tell is with downshifting through the gears, have to put a lot of down force on gear lever to shift down to next gear. May be a simple adjustment in shifter lever and will look into it but being sold as is knowing this problem. Bike is in overall good condition. Bike is located in Cameron, WI 54822 and can be seen at anytime.On Sep-21-12 at 18:00:34 PDT, seller added the following information: After cleaning shift peg bushing where is mounts to frame bike does down shift perfectly when a light quick tap is placed downward on shift lever. I believe to make it 100% the cover that shift lever shaft goes through should be removed and mechanism behind this cover needs to be cleaned. Previous owner has spray painted much of the engine parts and some frame parts along with rear fender. Paint on tank and sides looks like it could be original but I'm not sure. Transmission and clutch work perfectly, there are no problems with gears, or internal parts.
