Vehicle Detail

"Miss Daisy" This was my daughters car for the summer to run around town and have fun with but she is off to college and can't take it with her. I need my garage space back,so here it is. Beautiful car! It gets plenty of attention anywhere she goes. Runs & drives well. No leaks or smoke. Good tires & brakes. Brand new exhaust, New paint. New carpet. Some new chrome. power sunroof & windows. Original AC is complete but not functioning, does not appear to be powered at switch, may be simple fix but have not looked at it. Odometer worked up until a few months ago and now works intermitently so exact mileage unknown but around 86K. Front windows were both working fine until I tried changing switch to get rear working and now drivers side is not cooperating. I think I must have put wires on wrong switch terminals and I will try to figure it out by end of auction,I hope. I do know they will both work. I have not gotten rears to work but they will make noise so they are trying but seem stuck and I have not tried hard with those. Car has had body work, primarily on rockers. Like any 40 year old car it can always use a little tweaking here and there. Although exhaust is brand new from Y-pipe back, you can hear an exhaust leak at motor durring heavy acceleration, Priced below what I spent on her in the last 6 months! $2500. It looks and shows great but is not perfect! There was body work done prior to painting. Most was in the rockers which were repaired rather than replced, although replacements are readily available for about 50.00 each. The rockers are covered with a chrome strip as are the wheel wells. You can not see repairs until you are very close to car. Car is close to original color but the top was originally a dark brown as it was a custom order. The white walls can be removed as they are white wall rings which I got from Lucas Antique Tire Co. I like the look but can be easily switched to black wall. On Sep-22-12 at 05:15:59 PDT, seller added the following information: Please do not expect to buy this car and zip off across the country. It may make it but I don't know. I do know it would be a slow go as she is not fast and I have never had it past 55. I have not yet had time to figure out window issue, so you would have plenty of fresh air on such a trip. I will look at it. I would plan on transporting car, just to be safe, if you do not live nearby(100 mi.).
