Vehicle Detail

1967 Shelby Cobra Replica Titled in 2006. (only 5k since roaded) 351W, ported heads, Weiand intake, Holley double pumper 650cfm, Keith Black internals, much more... TKO600 5 speed, Lakewood scattershield, McLeod hydraulic throwout, (2nd gen) 9"Ford with Detroit locker, 3.50, 4 wheel discs, Front: GM oversize, Rear: SVO Ford Racing disc kit Classic Instruments gauges w/ 5"reverse speedo and 5" matched tach Battery cut-out in cab, battery in trunk, true roll bar, LED tail/stop/turn signals, cheap radio w/Kenwood awesome amp Rockford Fosgate loudspeakers, (amp only w/ buy-it-now), I don't really desire to sell my Cobra and backed out of a sale in 08 due to a lowball offer. Just being honest. Lost my job and my brother is quite sick so it's time to let the Cobra go to someone who can enjoy it, free up some cash for more worthy bills. Title is in my hand. I built this, from suspension to paint, from a Shell Valley kit. I have ALL receipts and spare parts if you want them and a car cover. There's not a lot of information here but for serious inquiries I'll provide any information asked if it's available as well as build pictures. Thanks and good luck. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ I've added some pictures as requested. I was also asked about the paint condition: It's good and straight, though there are a couple of original blems that were too small to warrant a repaint. One of them is on the back of the removable hoodscoop, and I'll include about a quart of original dark silver paint if you're inclined to fix it. I used two full gallons of clear so there is a ton of room to cut and buff if you ever get a scratch and need to. The underside of the hood and trunk are just sprayed black, not polished. The car was completely undercoated and sealed before I installed the body. The side pipes are silver ceramic coated but could use some polish or scuffing (for raw steel look) The interior is passable. The carpet is wearing a little where I normally place my feet. The driver side has an adjustable seat, and the 5th point of the harness is included though not installed. The matched 5" inch Classic Instruments tach is included, I switched because I thought the tach was bad but it turned out to be the Summit (Mallory) CD box which was replaced under warranty through Summit less than 2 months ago. Never raced, or beat on. I've driven on a few 300 mile trips with absolutely no problems. I'm 6'1" and I just fit, if you're taller I can remove the seat tracks to get you another inch. The trunk is not carpeted, but is coated with truck bed liner for durability and sealing. _________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Wheels are Team III's with faux knock-off spinners and lug covers rear:17"x9-1/2" w/315-35-R17 Sumitomo HTR-Z front:17"x8" W/235-45-R17 Sumitomo HTR-Z ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ To answer a few questions: There is no top. There is no tonneau cover. This is not a car for wet weather. Wipers, wiper motor, wiper switch are installed but not hooked up. (never needed, car has never seen bad weather.) Some of the extra parts included are: There is a heater (not installed) included, and defroster bezels are there. Extra dash extension, never installed 1 extra wind wing Cobra air cleaner (pictured in one of the photos) original incandescent bulbs for tail lights, Amber front turn signals for front. Spare alternator mount Extra dash/door vinyl (in case you ever need to recover after a tear) A set of (4) Crager Soft 8's wrapped in Khumo all seasons, barely used, but have paint overspray (only for buy-it-now) spare steering wheel with matched quick release 1 full tub of miscellaneous small parts, and the leftover paint both black and silver.
