Too many toys, no time for any of them in the foreseeable future. I shopped for about eight months before finding a fully optioned, clean, one owner, low mileage, blue GT at a fair price. After six months with the bike my job changed and my wife wanted one of the new B.M.W. convertibles. Now, when I have a few hours off, we seem to always be in the car. I have put about 300 miles on the motorcycle in the last two years. Somebody with the time available needs to enjoy this fine piece of machinery. I have owned and ridden about everything made from the 70’s onward to the new K1600. Nothing else comes close to the perfection of this motorcycle. It has spent it's time with me in a climate controled building. Fully equipped including ESA, “electronic adjustable suspension“, heated seats, cruise, etc.. It also has lowered driver pegs, side case luggage totes, Garmin GPS mount, Battery Tender trickle charger wired and included. The previous owner had a Coocase rear trunk installed, the quick release mount is still on the bike complete with wiring for running and brake lights but he kept the case for his new bike. The Michelins are better than 50%., Maintenance about 500 miles ago, and oil and filter changed again today. The only noticeable flaw is a barely noticeable boot scuff about an inch long on the right side case from the prior owner not lifting his leg quite high enough when boarding once. The motorcycle is listed with a very fair reserve, just in case this happens to be the only week nobody wants to buy a K1200GT. I have sold many cars, trucks and even a boat here on Ebay without having to re-list anything. I dont want to waste anybodys time, including my own.
