I am selling this 1958 Lincoln Continental Mark III with 72,000 miles on it at NO RESERVE. It's a Model 75A four door hardtop that can either be restored to it's original beautiful condition or it could use a set of seat covers, new carpet and dash pad so you can use it as is. There has been work done in the past five years to the front end, brakes (not working now) and a set of new tires. It runs when you put gas down the carb. I didn't want to use the gas tank without cleaning it out and due to health problems I can't do it. This is why I am selling it. I was told by the previous owner that it ran fine but it was left outside for the past year and that caused some other problems. Water came into the trunk through the antenna. The floor is fine but made a mess of the liner. The driver's side rear carpet is soaked but floor is fine. Driver's side front floor has a patch. The body has some rust at the front of the hood, bottom of driver's door and bumpers . Pictures show where. I had to drill out the trunk lock so it opens with a screwdriver. New locks are available. I do not know if the power options work so you can assume that they need going over. The car needs work but I am not asking a lot for a car that cost $6,000 new. It's also very complete. Needs new rocker moldings. Passenger front window is cracked. I am on Long Island , NY. The car can be seen by appointment. It will be sold to the highest bidder.
