This is a 1981 Corvette with the rare 4-speed manual transmission. The 4-speed is what makes this a fun, responsive car to drive. This car is in excellent condition. Recent work done to the vehicle:New brake lines and padsNew shocksPower-assist steering system completely replaced....control valve, cylinder, lines. This fixed the slow drip experienced by all C3 Vettes.A/C converted to R-134A and completely serviced. Blows ice cold. A/C control panel also replaced.Brand new heater core installed. Stays warm in the winter! This has historically always been a problem in Corvettes. No leaks, no cold...no hard work for you.New light switch...total pain to replace, no hard work for you.Reflectix installed underneath carpeting. This cures the "hot feet" problem experienced by C3 Vette drivers.Brand new interior carpeting kit installed. Comes with new C3 logo mats. Leather seats refurbished...cracks filled, dyed so that there is no fading from sun.Replaced windshield wiper moter, this one has the selectable time-delayed switch. Replaced non-functioning power antenna. Now goes up and down. During the course of this auction, I will also be replacing the plastic shift console and shift boot. Pictures added include installation of Reflectix, new shift console, and new carpeting. Seats are out and dyed. Two-tone paint is in good shape, and it always gets comments. It has been recently clayed, and I only use Zaino products. The alloy wheels are also in excellent shape. Michelin Pilots on the four corners.
