Nice, nearly rust free ALL ORIGINAL 1975 280Z CALIFORNIA car. Clean California Title. Black satin over original blue. Build date 3/75. This was running and driving last week, but I am taking engine and transmission for use in a 240Z project, so time to move this solid example to someone who can use it. It is too nice to scrap. NO ENGINE OR TRANSMISSION!!!!!! THEY HAVE BEEN REMOVED AND DO NOT COME WITH CAR!!!!! NO SEATS!!!!! NO BUMPERS!!!!!!!! IF YOU DON'T SEE IT, THEN I DON'T HAVE IT......PERIOD!!!!!! Passenger door replaced at some point. Floors, rockers, passenger frame rail and battery box, hatch area, tail light area, radiator supports, jack points, underside of doors ALL SOLID, SOLID, SOLID. Some surface rust here and there. Towed all the way from CA to NC because it was such a nice example. Began as an autocross project, but decided to go with a 240Z instead. All suspension there. All glass good except windshield has a crack. Most interior panels removed. Heater core removed. Nice console, dash cover and headliner. Car had a MSA STREET roll bar from MOTORSPORT Z installed. It is nearly brand new and available separately if interested. Front suspension is VERY worn hence the low stance. Rear suspension still holding up well. ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION ARE COMING OUT AND ARE NOT AVAILABLE. Headlights, turn signals, gauges, brake lights, horn, interior lights working. Brakes worked well as well as steering, chassis, etc, but front suspension is worn badly. Weatherstripping fair to poor. The CRUCIAL PASSENGER SIDE FRAME RAIL AND BATTERY BOX AREA ARE ROCK SOLID. Floors are great, no holes, only some surface rust. Spare well is great as well as tail light area. Rockers are rock solid as well, inner and outer. The only area where there is some minimal corrosion is the area where the original dome light striker was. The area became corroded and you can see where it was relocated further in towards the center. The rest of the hatch area is nice and solid. IF YOU SEE A HOLE IN THE DRIVER FLOOR IT IS BECAUSE THE FACTORY FLOOR DRAIN PLUG IS MISSING. Interior is missing rear panels but console is very nice, door panels are fair to poor, dash has a nice cover. Headliner nice. Vinyl trim behind seats and up on rear wheel wells in good shape, just has holes where it was drilled for a MSA STREET MOTORSPORT Z roll bar. Body is incredible. Solid and nearly rust free. One dent in passenger quarter from where someone backed into it in a parking lot. Doglegs solid, rockers solid, inner and outer. Hatch shows some exterior surface rust on passenger side under window and a little on the inside passenger side towards the bottom. Top is nice, no dents. Passenger door was replaced at some point and passenger fender has a little dent near the top near door intersection. Very minor. Chassis is rock solid. Radiator supports great. Jack points and tow points great. You will not find many Z's this solid. Rear suspension is holding up fine, front is VERY WORN and needs updating. Not good to drive on. Tires are HANKOOK Optimo H4 18 215/60-14. They are in decent shape. One tire is a Kumho 732 Touring Plus, same size.
