Vehicle Detail

Up for auction is a 1984 Cadillac Eldorado with a clear title. This would make a great project car and includes a custom stereo system. It has been in storage for 10+ years (outside under a tarp for about 1.5 then in two different garages for the past 9 years). The body is in great shape with no/minimal rust. I purchased the car from a used dealership around 1996 and from the paperwork in the owner's manual, it appears I am the second owner. I drove it from 1996 to approximately 2001. During that time, I had the back seats removed and 3 JL Audio 15W6 placed in a custom box with plexiglass installed in front for protection/improved sound. An Optima Yellow Top battery, a capacitor, a Xtant 1001D and 2100b amps are installed in a custom box in the back floorboard (there is a crack in the plexiglass above the amps though). The vehicle also has all chrome Player wire rims (believe they are 60 spokes per wheel). Plus an Alpine alarm is installed. Everything was installed professionally at Ovations audio in Indianapolis, IN (Castleton location), which I paid approximately $4,000 for and still have most of the receipts. Here is what I know is wrong with the vehicle. First off, it does not run and has not been started in 10+ years. I am not a mechanic by any means and do not know what caused it to stop running. I was driving to work and the vehicle started riding rough, I was unable to restart it when I attempted to leave for the day. I arranged for a friend of mine to tow it the next day but unfortunately the vehicle was broken into while in the parking lot overnight. The driver side small rear window is still missing and they attempted to crack the column, the stereo was also taken. The car has been in storage since then. The rims do have some rust on them (may be able to polish out) and the tires are flat. The vehicle is also in the need of a bath (as you can see from the pictures) I am selling this car as is and it will be the buyers responsibility to have it towed once the auction is over and paid for in full. I only accept PayPal. if you have any questions please feel free to ask. If the auction goes over $,1000 dollars I will include two all chrome hydraulic pumps, 2 batteries and an almost complete set of hoses and dumps that I bought shortly before the vehicle broke down.
