Two-owner 242 code CA car. Garaged its entire life. Moved from CA to TN 5 years ago. Has recently rebuilt Pontiac 400 engine with new Holley 650 carburetor, power steering, power brakes, Flow Master exhaust system. Automatic transmission. New battery and alternator. Car starts, stops, runs and drives fine but I haven't driven extensively. Brakes need adjusted due to sitting for awhile. Brand new tires and near perfect Rally rims. 99% rust-free, straight and bondo-free body. Only rust is a little patching near spare in trunk and a couple of pencil eraser size spots on bottom corners of driver door. I cleaned up some surface rust in the trunk and painted with spatter paint. I can't find any bondo (with magnet) or rust otherwise. Original vinyl top (in great condition) and interior. I think it is original paint. Original chrome is in great condition for its age. Glass is all good. Doors, trunk, hood and trunk line up and close very tight. Needs weather stripping replaced due to age. Paint looks good from 20 feet but would need repaint to be a show car. Interior is good. Radio antennae missing, headlight switch needs replaced, ignition switch needs replaced, original carpet is worn in places, dashpad has a few cracks, one fog light needs cover, dash laminate needs replacing, hatrack is faded. Clear and open TN title showing 50,009 original miles. Prior owner said this was actual until a couple of years ago when odometer stuck but I can't guarantee it. I have a 3 page fax from PHS on car and can email on request. Complete package will be provided to winning bidder as soon as I receive it in the mail. On Sep-13-12 at 05:41:32 PDT, seller added the following information: Pictures 18 & 19 are pencil-eraser sized rust bubbles in the bottom front and rear corner of the drivers side door. This is the only rust that I've been able to find in car, other than than the right trunk pan.
