FOR SALE AT NO RESERVE! WILL NOT BE RE-LISTED, SO THIS IS YOUR LAST SHOT AT THIS ONE! If you are reading this listing you already know that this is one of the last of the great Mercedes production supercars! With fewer than 20 sold in the USA in its last year of 1999, this incredible car sold for around $130K! You owe it to yourself to own a Mercedes V12! If you don't buy this one--for goodness sake buy one from somebody!Mercedes stopped making V12's, and the 1999 140Series is the one to grab! The last, the biggest, the best! These cars are under 10 grand now and the buy of the century. Talk about "muscle cars..." WOW! Unfortunately, my favorite toy has to go now, and I have really enjoyed it the past three years. What a ride! I have even enjoyed learningabout and taking care of this car which Mercedes considered a "cost no object" build the biggest, baddest, fastest thing available. This particular car, with 118K miles is the one to buy! It is past the expensive 85K to 105K mile range when things beginto need attention. In the past 10,000 miles, it has had new tires, complete new F & R brake rotors and pads, new water pump, belt, hoses and fan, driveshaft bearing, and anything else it needed! Before I owned it the transmission was replaced apparentlyat a Penske MB dealership in California at around 95K miles. It had its fluid change and service about 3000 miles ago. This CL600 has been meticulously serviced and maintained by local MB specialists and the MB dealer --plus by me! It needs noservices. There are no warning lights. The climate control works great and the A/C is the best I have ever seen. This is a 13-year old car, and it is not perfect...so for all the "nit pickers," here is what I think you will want to know: --The drivers' seat belt itself does not fully retract. The "presenters" work fine on both sides.--The rear window tint film is bubbling in a few spots and will need attention sometime.--There are a few small chips and a small reverse dimple on the front of the hood.--The lower front bumper apron has tangled with a few parking lot barriers and has some cracks. It is serviceable and looks pretty good.--Passenger side rear quarter window does not retract when door is opened. The main front window does. This does not present a problem with interference, water sealing, or wind noise. I would leave it alone.--The chrome AMG wheels have some "road rash/corrosion" which we have tried to show in the pix. I would leave them alone also.--The steering wheel has some subsurface cracks from sun exposure. (The are barely noticeable--see pix.) A custom windshield screen comes with the car to help with bright sun problems. If I remember or find anything else I will post it here for you. For what it's worth, the first owner was a semi-famous LA area NBA star. His name will be in the owner's manual. If I bought this car, I would simply drive it and enjoy it -- it is great fun and when the V12 torque begins topour it on (which it does from zero mph on up) it is automobile Nirvana! Just revel in how special it is! I predict that when the rarity of these cars is finally realized, you probably will have driven it for next to nothing oreven make a few bucks when you sell it! Whoever thought crummy 1970's American V8's would be selling forsmall fortunes now? Thanks- THIS VEHICLE IS SOLD AS IS, WITHOUT WARRANTY. THE BUYER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR PICKUP AND OR SHIPPING. THE SELLER WILL PROVIDE REASONABLE ASSISTANCEIN ARRANGING FOR PICKUP OF THE VEHICLE.
