I saved this first year MG Midget from being scrapped! It has been sitting in the dry NV weather since 1982. I have had new tires put on the stock rims just to be able to move it around. It has 2 original hub caps and one with AH on it, which means more than likely it came off of an Austin Healey Sprite. The brakes and engine are not frozen both move freely. It does not run currently and is being sold as a project/restoration. The car is numbers matching and the engine appears to be only missing the oil cap and generator/alternator. The air cleaner assembly is in the trunk along with some hub caps and a box of small parts such as the rear view mirror. It comes with two windshield frames(both windshields are cracked). All of the stainless side trim is there, as well as, the headlight trim, tail lights/lenses, front parking lights/lenses and the detachable side window assemblies with intact plexiglass. The soft top bows are there as well as the stock gauges and ignition(no key). The seats are completely missing, as well as the grille. The rust is minimal and confined to a small section of the "a" pillars, a couple small spots on the bottom of the rear quarters and a small section on the passenger floor. The rest you see is surface rust. This car is so straight and complete for a car that has sat for 30 years!! The trunk area has the only real body damage and it is minimal. The reserve is a little above the starting price so it will sell! I require a $500 deposit via Paypal at the end of the auction and the rest prior to pickup via cash or cashiers check. I will allow 2 weeks for the new owner to arrange pickup of his new car! I will help with loading if the owner sends a transport company. The title is clear and in my name.
