1996 Toyota Rav4 Stock Photo actual pictures below A friend has asked me to help her sell her 1996 2 door base Rav4. She'll be retiring in a few years and figured now's the time to get a new car. I moved to Florida recently and I've known this vehicle since then. The Rav4 is affectionately called Bubba. Looking at the Title I see his owner bought him in 1998 and she's the second owner. Because his owner has worked at home since the mid 90's, Bubba has never seen a commute to work. That explains the low mileage. Me being a "Northerner" born in Western NY, I've always had an appreciation for rust free vehicles. I have no doubt Bubba's miles are original. As is every body part, all the pictures have Bubba's vin numbers on them so he's accident free too. See pictures. When I took a look under him I could easily see the original exhaust and shocks. Go figure a 16 year old Toyota with original shocks and exhaust.... I've also got to comment that there's no pot holes down here too so the suspension's never seen the northern extremes. Heck looking under bubba he still looks new, even the bushings, so I had a "Kodak moment" :) As the pictures point out all the tires are great, In the pictures there's a few parking lot dings, and scratches. The paint on the roof is also shedding it's clear coat as part of the hood is starting to do the same. Aside from his exterior sun damage previously described, Bubba's dash and seats are almost perfect ,and the original floor mats are still nice. Bubba's a great vehicle. I've driven Bubba around town too. He purrs like a kitten, shifts correctly, goes straight down the road, is clunk and rattle free, and stops perfectly too. Bubba's air also works great and has never been recharged. He does not have any leaks and he's also got a 4 speaker AM FM stereo that plays cd's, and even has a rear view mirror that displays the compass heading along with the temperature . Bubba ....
