Vehicle Detail
There is no such thing as a "like new" used car, but this is as close as it gets. I bought it new as a second/weekend vehicle. It's been garage kept and covered ever since. All equipment were factory options. No after market, no modifications. The trim level is the "Touring" package, which includes the "Sport Package". I also added the "Appearance Package". Here is a link to the original brochure. The packages are described on page 16. 2004 Mazda RX-8 Brochure In addition to the cars excellent condition, 4 brand new Michelin Pilot Suport Sport 95Y Tires installed at 23,624 miles, which is just over 1,000 miles ago. These tires cost $1200. They are a performance grade higher than what came originally on the car. (I have the invoice if you'd like to see it to confirm). Service records are also available for review. All regular service done at local Mazda dealership. New battery was installed a few months ago. New brake rotors and pads were installed by the dealer (under warranty) when the car had about 10k miles on it. I complained that they were too squeaky/noisy and they replaced them. When the car was getting the tires installed, I had the opportunity to take pictures of the underside, so that you can see the condition of the underside of the car. Click on the Hi-Rez photo album link below, and scroll to end to see the underside pictures. Garage kept ALWAYS. Stored in the wintertime, with fuel stabilizer, Battery Tender and Covered. Not driven in bad weather (ever). This was always a second/weekendcar for me, as I have a Jeep for my daily driver. Always used premium fuel. The only issues are a few very small paint chips on the front end, and the driver side floormat has some worn spots. Includes a custom fit "DustStop" car cover. (which fits perfectly, even with the airdam and rear spoliter.)Also includes wheellocks (& key), manual, 2 remote, 3 keys, spare tire and Mazda inflation kit.I followed the break-in procedure religeously, for the first 1000 miles, as reccoemmend by RacingBeat. Please ask questions if you're interested. The full set of high-rez pictures are here. If there is a picture angle that you want to see, let me know and I will try to accomodate you. Hi-Resolution Photo Album No known issues with the car. Got married recently and just don't have the time that I used to for cruising around in it. I figured I would sell it while it's still in top condition so that someone else can enjoy it. Will that someone be you? On Sep-07-12 at 20:22:51 PDT, seller added the following information:I've have several questions regarding the value of the car. If you go to KBB.com, and pick the year/make/model from the dropdown and enter the milage, then check the following options: 6spd Sport Pkg Touring Pkg MP3 (Single Disc) Moon Roof Rear Spoiler It should come out to 11565. If you are figuring the true value, you may (it's up to you) want to factor in a portion of the upgraded tire cost as well.
