StreetHeat Store Description This ad is for a very cool 1949 Ford F-1 rat rod truck AT NO RESERVE. The truck has a nicely dressed and clean FE 390ci engine with a pair of Cal Custom vintage valve covers and sounds killer out the dual stacks. The engine is low mileage and is super clean internally,(NO LEAKS, NO SMOKE, TURN THE KEY AND GO!!!) The transmission is a C-6 3 speed automatic that shifts tight and gets the power to the highway geared 9 inch rear. The wheels are custom painted 20x9 steelies with spider caps and good tires at all corners. The front suspension has been upgraded with 3 inch drop leafs from speedway and a few leafs have been removed out the rear to give this truck a little lower stance. The entire brake system from front to rear has been replaced including lines, shoes, hoses, wheel cylinders, and a late model dual reservoir master cylinder, the truck stops nice. All lights and speedo work, and the truck has been fitted with LED brake/turn signals. The interior is all there. The seats are not factory but sit nice. Some rat rod style touches have been made and are all functional. This truck turns heads and has a look of its own. It is a great cruiser and it gets so much attention when its out at the shows.
