Up for auction is a nice solid 1974 Jensen Interceptor lll. This cas has been in my family for about 20 years. I came into possesion of the car in about 2003. It has sat in my garage for the last 9 years. I have many receipts for work that was performed in its last 1000 miles of travel. Some of the things done were new exhaust, front end, tires, tune up, etc. The car needs a fuel pump to run on its own. It will fire right up with gas in the carburator. The starter is brand new. The body is straight with very little rust. The paint looks good only from a distance. The interior is complete and needs cleaning. It drove straight as an arrow at high speeds before going into storage. The windows, lights, horn, locks all work as they should. With some good TLC this car can easily be on the road again. I lost its garage space to the fact that I have 2 new BMW's. Please do not bid thinking that you are buying a new car. Let the pictures speak for themselves. On Sep-06-12 at 09:47:20 PDT, seller added the following information: I just received an email and phone call from the gentleman that sold the car to my uncle in 1994. He informed me that he owned the car from 1987 and a woman in NYC owned the car for five years before him. The great news is that he had the engine removed from the car in 1991 and had it totally rebuilt from top to bottom by a real craftsman to the tune of $7000.00-$8000.00. There probably isn't 4000 miles on the car since that time. The only reason he sold the car was the fact that he was moving from Long Island, NY to the Outer Banks, NC to build a house and he could not take all his cars.
