This This 1996 Nissan 300ZX convertible is #66 of 194 convertibles that Nissan imported to the US in 1996. This car spent the first 14 winters of it’s life in a heated executive garage in New Jersey. Car was originally purchased from a dealer in South Florida and shipped to N.J. where I bought it about 2 ½ years ago. The first owner was a retired female school teacher that was 66 years old when I bought the car. As of now I am retired and 67 myself. This car was maintained at the Nissan dealer in N.J. and if something didn’t look or perform correct, the lady had it fixed. I have all the maintenance records that will go with the car. Car looks as good underneath as above. There are a few small “bumps” along the edge of the trunk that looks as if someone “palmed” the trunk lid as they were pushing it closed. As far as I can tell, no painting has ever been done on the car. It has 133 K miles, oil changed every 3K and has never had anything but High Octane Fuel in the tank. Castrol oil is now in the engine. The transmission operates as it should and the power is great for a 3000 cc engine of 221 horsepower. The top is the original one that came on the car and it is in excellent condition. Seats are leather, don’t have any tears or splits. Dash pad is solid and is not split or faded. This car has been well maintained and taken care of all it’s life. None of the evaluation sites such a KBB rate the value anything above the average but this one is well above due to care it has received and also due to it being one of 194 sent to the US in ’96.
