2005 Pontiac GTO 6.0 Supercharged...NOT your TYPICAL GTO...This car is not for a boy...It's for a MAN! New Lexus Trade-In This is a great opportunity to own one of the nicest GTO's you will ever run across. This car was brought brand new by a man in his 40's who had plenty of money. He bought the car new in 2005 and it was a 6 Speed car from the factory. He had an entire collection of cars. He said he never kept a car to 100k miles...This particular car he decided to make into a street legal racing machine...Every bit of the performance upgrades was professionally done and installed to the tune of just over $20,000 in performance upgrades alone. No corner was cut. Best part about it...He made the decision to transform this car when the car had 88k miles so all the parts including the supercharger are practically brand new with just over 8k miles on them. When the new IS-F Lexus came out which was also supercharged from the factory, he traded this car in on a new toy and even after spending 70 grand on a new IS-F...the first place he took it was the speed shop...He was a performance NUT! Where do I begin with this car...6 Speed Transmission was taken out and replaced with a 400 Turbo ($3000) which as everyone knows is a 3 speed racing transmission...Lots of the older cars had them...BOY WILL THEY PULL! BUT...this is not your typical 400 Turbo...backed up with a Gear Vendors over/underdrive which is controlled with a foot button, you can drive this car like a badass 3 Speed Oldschool and NEVER stop pulling or engage the overdrive with the push of a button (with your foot) for everyday driving and cruising. Every part used in the motor was the best that money could buy...The supercharger kit and all was right at $7000. I am by no means an expert myself on brands of parts but the man that runs my shop says that there is NO TELLING how much money has really been spent on this car when you add the nickels and dimes...Just on the main items over $20k...I have a list somewhere around my shop of every single item from $20 to $7000 that was ever put on the car which is very interesting...I just have to find it! I took it out of the car so nobody would take it on my lot and I put it away and not I can't even find it! I was told the car is producing over 500+ HORSEPOWER and not just 505...it is actually suppose to be closer to 600HP! A lot of people may not like the fact that it has the QUARTER STICK Hurst Shifter and the 400 Turbo rather than the factory 6 Speed BUT let me tell you...this car motor and tranny are synchronized to perfection and there is NO WAY anyone could drive a 6 Speed faster than this car on a consistent basis and the man that build this car wanted the fastest thing on the street...Not 1 out of 10 times...but EVERY time! He owns a few old camaros and has always been in the performance business.
