The Ultimate MGB Restored by a true Marque enthusiast several years ago with less than 7,000 miles since. Also Updated and modified for modern use with several very desirale options. The last owner set out to make his ultimate version of the classic chrome bumper MGB with this car. He started with the last year version of the MGB from early 1974, which many agree is the pinnacle of development for the classic design. This car was from a dry climate and was the perfect basis for his vision.It was finished in classic British Racing Green with Tan interior. The paint was done professionally and has held up very well. All chrome on the outside was replaced or refinished as well as all the rubber gaskets and seals. On the inside, it was completely redone and upgraded with Tan leather, burl walnut dash and deep pile carpet. It was also upgraded to a Tourist Trophy wood steering wheel to tie in with the dash. Mechanically the engine was totally rebuilt and upgraded to a mildly tuned street spec. The carbs and distributor were rebuilt and upgraded to the latest 2 wire electronic ignition and high output ignition wires and coil. From there it got even more amazing with a professional 5 speed conversion to make it a true highway cruiser. It also received Wildwood 4 wheel disc brake conversion. These two items alone cost over $6,000. The wheels were upgraded to the classic Minilite period style alloy wheels, and it got a front chin spoiler. It is a 2 top convertible with a tan soft top and a factory style tan Hardtop which has been lined to make it even nicer than standard. The list of upgrades and restoration items go on and on, but as you can see it is quite an MGB. It has won numerous awards at regional and national British Car shows and is ready for you.
