Vehicle Detail

I have a 1974 International Harvester Scout ll that is in GREAT condition. I have done a 2 year resto-mod on this Scout. I have cleaned-repaired-replaced-reconditioned every inch of this cool collectable Scout. I have pictures chronicling every step of my restoration. I started with a very good solid running Scout with only 34k miles on it, I put a new Holly 2 barrel carb on it with new fuel lines and filter, it has a complete tune up and a newly rebuilt 727 Torque Flight 3 speed transmission. It has a Dana 30 transfer case and Dana 44 rear end and Dana 35 front end. It has all new breaks and like new 33X12.5X15 BFG Mud T/A's on black 8 spoke rims. It has a fresh paint job back to the original color of Bimini Blue inside and out. The entire tub has 3 coats of gloss rust preventive bed liner and all new custom interior. the seats where professionally repaded and recovered with a two tone marine grade vinyl black with a silver diamond plate textured center sectioned seats. The door panels and sun visors and center shifter cover plate where also done in the silver diamond plate textured vinyl. The interior looks awesome and I get a lot of complements and awards on it. I kept with the marine theme and installed a JVC 200 watt CD-MP3-remote stereo with Pioneer 6 inch 2 way marine grade speakers in the door panels and 6X9 Pioneer 3 way marine grade speakers in the rear passenger area. It also has a Pioneer 600 watt amp that pushes a custom box with (2) 10 inch Punch sub woofers in the rear cargo area. Needless to say it sounds very good but not obnoxious to others. I had a 4 inch Rough Country suspension lift and a 1 inch body lift professionally installed with a set of Bush Wacker fender flairs to handle the BFG Mud tires. I have totally coated every part of this Scout with POR15 rust restorer that permanently stops any rust (which was very little-it's a southern car) and then sprayed a rust preventing undercoating to keep it protected from the weather. I also installed all new Rough Country shocks and steering damper. The Scout runs and drives like new! It is truely a pleasure to drive anytime/anywhere!! To complete my restoration I pulled the motor out and steam cleaned it and painted it back with original International red and I had the "International" lettering on the valve covers painted white. The engine compartment is very clean and looks very neat with the shiny red engine block-blue plug wires-yellow Accel Flame Thrower coil-and chrome air filter cover. Every light-gauge-switch etc. works perfectly. It is easy to start in hot or cold conditions and it has no mechanical problems at all. It has always been adult driven and never abused or wrecked. I would feel very comfortable jumping in and driving it accross country! It gets 14 mpg and it has a 19 gallon tank with a chrome locking gas cap. I have the original IH keys, along with the owners manuel and a complete service manual and a factory line set ticket which confirms all the original equipment that was put on this Scout as it was built. I have a clear title and current tags on it and a few extra parts that will go along with it. It has been a labor of love, but out of love I need to sell it to take care of some family issues. I live in the Augusta GA area and I will try to work with you on shipping it (at your cost). There is no top with this Scout. It has been my intension to put a roll bar and a bikini top on it but I never got around to doing it. It has always been garage kept and is very clean and neat. This will make someone a great all around vehicle from a grocery getter to a great trail ready rig! So happy bidding and good luck!!
