You are bidding on a 1940 Plymouth Deluxe 4 door Sedan. I far as I can tell the car has always been a rust free solid car, which I believe was repainted in the 1980's and it is still holding up well and is very presentsable, however it does have several chips and scratches in the paint. The car runs well and has about 50 psi of oil pressure which can be seen in the attached pictures. All gauges, speedometer, odometer, heater and radio are in working condition. The car needs to have the brakes professionally adjusted, these cars did not have self adjusting brakes and a special tool is required to adjust correctly, I do not recommend driving until this is completed. The interior is original and in very good condition but does have a few minor wear spots in a few areas. It can be viewed in western Massachusetts during the auction. It has a clear Massachusetts title, and I have a copies of previous titles from Virginia. One of the Virginia titles was issued on May 2 , 1947 in Jordan Mines, Virginia and another from Ashland, Virginia in 1989.
