1967 Mustang GTA Playboy Pink Convertible tribute with custom White/Pink interior. Hello everyone, especially the ladies, this is a auction for a 1967 Mustang GTA Playboy Pink convertible tribute. How many times do you see a completely redone Mustang in Pink? Hardly ever but here is your chance to own one. Ladies, If you love the color pink and love Mustangs, this is car is for you. Now before I get to far into the description I wanted to mention that there is a 15 minute video and also 175 full page pictures below. Now lets back to the car. The car is in very good condition overall. It has a 289 4V engine and a C4 automatic with center console. The engine was fully rebuilt along with the transmission. The engine has about 2800 miles on it and the tranny has about the same. The engine and trans were just retuned again and are in very good working condition with NO issues. The engine runs very good and has good oil pressure and NEVER runs hot or overheats, never. The engine does not smoke and the engine is dry with no leaks. The engine has new plugs, correct plug wires, distributor cap, new valve covers gaskets, exhaust manifold gaskets and donuts, correct upper and lower radiator hoses. The tranny has new filter, gasket, kickdown linkage so everything runs as it should and will for years to come. The car runs very good and really needs nothing to enjoy it. The only thing that does not work is the gas gauge. I did replace the sending unit in the gas tank but still did not work so I asume it is the guage. Now everything else DOES work. The rest of the gauges work, turn signals and high beam light (inside and outside) work, the new AM/FM stereo works, all the interior lights(courtesy under the dash and center console plus all dash lights), all exterior parking and headlights work, brake lights work, reverse lights work, horn works, wipers work, windshiled washer works and wipers come on when the pedal is pressed. The car really does not need anything and is ready to enjoy for years and years to come. Now the car is not a original Playboy Pink car but was fully taken apart and redone as one, so it is done the right way in that the car was fully stripped and all sheetmetal was taken off to be painted. The car still retains it's original rear quarters, rocker panels, doors, etc. The floor does have some front metal replaced but the car is very solid. The body on each side is very straight and not wavy. The car really has no dents or dings, very staright sheetmetal. The paint is in excellant condition and is an 8 out of a 10 and was a very good quality paint job, not just a scuff and paint. The paint is the most important thing when restoring a car. This was not scimped on and it shows that time was taken to do it right. This is not a #1 show condition car but a very nice well above average driver quality car finished in a rare color that you just don't see with a matching interior to match. The interior was redone and is custom with white and pink seat covers, custom made. The seats have very good foam in the seats(front and back) and are in very good condition with no rips/tears. The convertible top is also in very good condition with no holes or rips also the top boot is in very good condition with no tears or holes. The car has all GTA options(GT hood, GT wheels, Power disk brakes, dual exhaust rear valance and emblems) The car also has Power steering, Power top, center console, wood steering wheel, deluxe dash trim, white factory style guages and AM/FM stereo with I pod jack. Even the interior is white with pink inserts on the seats. Now lets go over the new or fully reconditioned items;The windshield, AM/FM stereo with I pod jack, radiator, radiator fan and shroud, upper and lower radiator hoses with part numbers, correct plugs wires, plugs, exhaust gaskets/donuts, valve covers, air cleaner, completed disk brakes and rear drum, chrome original power booster, master cylinder, brake lines, upper and lower ball joints, 1" sway bar with bushings, dash trim, correct factory white seat belts, exterior emblems, both side door mirrors, front and rear bumpers, back up lights, horse and corrall, wheels(trim rings and center caps as well), BF Goodrich tires, exterior door handles, most weatherstripping are ALL brand new or fully reconditioned to be just like new. The reason we are selling the car is that my wife has enjoyed the car and wants a black muscle car to take its place, so this must be sold to get another in Black. The car just needs a Lady that loves Pink and a new garage to call it's home. It was very well taken care of and has been garage kept for the last 25 years, I know the ownership from back then. There only has been 2 owners since then, my wife being 1 of them. The car is fully inspected and insured and can be test driven if anyone has interest and cam come to see it in person.
