1971 FORD BRONCO STROPPE BAJA EDITION Up for auction is this amazing 71 Baja Bronco. The body on this Bronco is in excellent condition. We cant find any rust anywhere. Floorpans, rockers, inner fenders, tailgate, all solid. We would guess the paint to be 5-10 years old. Some nicks and scratches in the paint. Very presentable but not perfect. When you look under the Bronco you will see the real beauty. Floorpans appear factory as do the rockers, and they look great. We left the underside of the Bronco untouched because it appears to be the factory primer. It was degreased and powerwashed only. We replaced the clutch and pressure plate, resealed and painted the transmission and transfer case. 4-5" suspension lift with 35" BFG All-terraintires with excellent tread, matching spare on back carrier. Mickey Thompson aluminum wheels. 4:11 Gears with limited slip in the rear. Dual Rancho shocks at all four corners. Dual fuel tank. Dual exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers. Sounds great, watch the video!! On the interior we have black Corbeau racing seats, 4 point roll bar, Pioneer CD player with Sirrius Satellite radio and remote control. 2 5" speakers in custom box under the dash. 3 speed floor shifter. We have a black bikini top installed as of now but we also have complete soft tops available. Stock BAJA hard top can be included if interested. It needs to be repainted but is solid and has all the chrome, and a roof rack. Under the hood the 302 V-8 engine is outfitted with on Offenhauser aluminum intake, Carter AFB Competition series Carb. Mallory Promaster Coil, Mallory 8MM Sidewinder wires, Mallory Unilite distributor. Niehoff solid state external voltage regulator, Optima red top battery, newer power brake booster and exhaust headers. Custom off road bumpers, Warn M6000 winch with roller fairlead and wired remote, TLC off road lights on top of brush guard. The odometer reads 10416, I would guess this to be 110416. All of the lights work, as well as all of the gauges. Windows go up and down smooth, doors shut good. Brakes work good, the ride quality is very good for a lifted truck with 35" tires. I have driven this around quite a bit with my boys in the back seat and feel comfortable at highway speed. This Bronco has spent most its life in Arizona and the condition of the body shows it.
