This is a 1984 944 Porsche Guards Red with rare light grey & beige Interior. The light interior makes the car seem much more spacious inside. Five Speed stick manual Transmission, Strong Engine, Good Mechanics, a true GEM at a fraction of the Cost. Here is why: The car has never been wrecked and maintains a clean car fax report. (note that the report shows a recent mileage as 35K miles as whoever did the entry forgot the leading digit of ' 1 ') Look at it right here on the e-bay report history link and you can clearly see it is a typo. No rust, period. It is rare to find these cars with no rust underneath. You can tell it has been pretty well cared for over its life. Many more miles of fun left. No leaks, period. Recent exhaust manifold gasket replacement. Sounds nice. Heater and blower works fine Good 5 speed manual transmission, good shifting, power pop up front head lights. ALL Turn signals, wipers, headlights, interior light, power windows, hatch struts work well. Car drives and handles great! Power moonroof lifts up. (also, you can remove the roof manually for a targa style “open air” feel. It is a large moonroof) Radio is a great aftermarket unit that is less than 5 years old. Includes MP3 and MP4 disks. Stereo also has an input to play your iPod or flash drive through the unit via USB port. Great sound! I have a clean and clear NJ Title in MY NAME ready to go. No stories, no hassles. Original Fuch alloy wheels, with all matching lug nuts and center caps. Rear spoiler still pliable. Not hard and cracked. This car still gets all the stares and looks at the cost of only an American made used car, but you have a German sports car. Let me know if you have any questions, I am available to answer them @ 609-206-8555 Here is what I know does not work properly: 1) AC is cold and fully charged, however, there is something wrong with the switch or system as it will not turn on with the dashboard switch. Will only turn on and blow cold if I use a jumper wire. I am sure it is something simple. 2) The front bumper has a slight dent at the bumper support. You can see it in the pictures if you really look closely, but it is not very noticeable. I mention it to be complete and you could have it popped out easily. This Is no big deal and is hardly noticeable as the it stands now. 3) The odometer cable broke. The mileage that is showing on the dash is approx 135,000 miles. Judging by the carfax report, I have little reason to doubt that is accurate. YES I HAVE A CARFAX report that comes with the car! 4) Tear in drivers leather seat. 5) Power mirrors do not work. I am selling this Porsche at a very reasonable price considering it's outstanding NO RUST condition with a clean car fax - no accidents. The paint was resprayed about 2 years ago but it is a very nice quality job and looks like it is all original. It still shines like new. The car needs a little work here and there as mentioned, but you will get a nice car and at a decent price. The interior is in decent condition and very lightly worn, except the DRIVERS SEAT has a large tear in the side bolster leather, tires are usable and have about 60% tread left. It starts easily and runs strong with no issues or service lights. I am a well rated EBAY seller and am describing this car honestly. Please be honest with me, and yourself. Before you bid, ask yourself these basic questions: 1) Do I have all the money, in cash, that I need to buy this car? 2) When can I pick the car up? I have owned the car about 4 months and know only what I have stated above. In answer to questions I have received about any maintenence documentation, I have nothing. Sorry. Sold 'AS-IS'. I bought it and fixed headlights, cleaned interior, fixed drivers window motor and tried to fix AC, but was not completely succesful, as described above. On Aug-18-12 at 15:57:10 PDT, seller added the following information: Added info: I just had someone test drive the car and they noted that there IS a small leak from the radiator or hose. They think it could be a water pump leak. I am sharing all info about the car. Thank you. In perfect condition, I think these 944s are about $4000. So I am thinking I would take $2800 as -is cash on the spot.
