I'm the original owner and I bought this truck brand new back in January 2003 when it had just 4 miles on the odometer. Since that time, I have put 76,196 miles on this truck and I can tell you that my friends and family are often disgusted by the amount I have babied it. I have always kept it clean (you could literally eat off the top of stuff in the engine bay – right now, today). I have “religiously” kept up with the oil change schedule and changed the oil every 3,000 miles. I have never towed or hauled with it or taken this truck “off road-ing” (I still have the trailer wiring harness connector in its factory sealed package and just take a look at the condition of the inside of the bed). I’ve been told this truck “looks and runs like it was brand new” (FWIW as recently as last Friday 8/3) and I couldn’t agree more but, it is not 100% perfect. There isn't a mark or scratch on the bodies painted surfaces except for a couple "pin sized" rock chips from driving on the highway. The bright work (chrome) is shiny and straight except for a small ding (~2 inches long) on the front passenger side bumper by the driving light (seen in picture). There are also 2 small dings (~2 inches long) in the rear bumper on the driver side (near center – barely visible in picture). All these dings were done by me slowly pulling into parking spaces too deeply and lightly tapping whatever poles were there (Light Pole, 45 Minute Parking Sign, etc.). I also think all of these "dings" can be knocked out by someone who knows their way around small dent repair because the chrome round these marks is not cracked or chipping. The interior is as clean as you would expect from a truck in this condition. No stains, rips or tears anywhere with one small exception. On the dashboard, way up near the windshield is a hard to see crack in the pad (~1 inch long). I first noticed this crack about 3 years ago and it has not grown in size since. One more thing. This truck probably represents one of the last examples you can get in this type/class of pickup where the 4x4 is NOT a “push-button” or a “knob” to engage. There is a lever (shifter) that you grab onto and slide this baby into 4x4 Hi (any speed < 60 mph) or 4x4 Lo (< 10 MPH). I absolutely love this feature about this truck, and yes, it worked flawlessly and smoothly every time I needed it.
