If you’ve been looking for a nice 4X4 Diesel truck to pull the camper or some heavy trailers around and want 20 MPG’s and can’t afford a new Ford diesel ($50,000+) nor do you want the problems, then this might be just what you’ve been waiting for. A Maryland owned truck that was well cared for and is in great shape and ready to be put to use. Read on for a full description. Mechanically this truck is very strong. 7.3L Motor starts up smooth with no hesitation or smoke. Transmission shifts great and the fluid looks and smells good, I’m sure it was rebuilt at one time because the shifts are firm and it is painted Ford blue with a date of 2006 marked on the side, I don’t have any paper records of it being rebuilt though. Coolant and transmission oil are clean and nice. The tires are Firestone with good even wearing tread, brakes stop straight with no shimmies, no wondering, very tight front end. Great truck all around. There are absolutely no leaks on this truck, other than a little grease seeping at some seals. Mechanically you will be very satisfied with this Ford truck. Cosmetically this truck is the same condition, nice and well cared for. Nice original paint that shines well and is very straight but it does have a few chips and door dings that I touched up and now are barely noticeable. The dually flares were recently repainted and like new. The rear bumper has a few small dings and the center black part has rust on it. The frame and underbody of this truck are solid. Has normal corrosion underneath for this area but nothing abnormal or in need of attention. Very clean paint, no rust on the body panels or bubbling, no body work ever done. The interior is well above average for the year and mileage. Headliner, carpets, seats, door panels all very well kept and without damage or stains. The dash cover has one 3 inch crack in it. Smells nice and is very clean and well cared for. A/C is ice cold all power windows and locks work. These Classic 7.3 Trucks are very hard to find these days an especially with a crew cab dually, I honestly don’t think many are left. As I was taking pictures of this out front of my office a guy pulled in just to tell me how nice this truck was, I thanked him and he was on his way. I have a feeling you will be getting compliments like that as long as you own this truck.
