Our exceptional 944 Turbo is up for sale in one of the most desirable and rare color combinations. She is best suited to a knowledgeable new owner who can appreciate how nice this car is. With a very expensive upgraded intercooler etc. she runs very very strong. She runs, drives and stops exceptionally well. Getting further into it that means: Starts and idles beautifully cold or hot, No smoking at startup even if sat for a week or, Also no smoking under idle when hot or even under hard acceleration All four wheel bearings smooth and quiet Transmission/Transaxle smooth and quite in all gears No play in Drive shaft when taking up drive Excellent Brakes Emergency brake works excellent Suspension in excellent condition No vibration in Steering Exhaust system in excellent shape no leaks A/C works great Complete with factory spare/jack/tools and factory air compressor, owners manual and pouch As for electrical system, never gets a flat battery even if not started for a while, hence no drain, all lights and turn signals work including horn, hazard and dome light, And last but not least, she is a west coast car hence no rust and never been welded or patched. Cosmetically (interior and exterior) in line with the rest of the car and the pictures speak for themselves. Should you have any questions, please feel free to contact us on : 949-302-1773 and thank you for your visit, Karl, On Aug-13-12 at 17:38:19 PDT, seller added the following information: A few notes regarding this car: Some things set this car apart from the regular Turbo (in addition to the obvious items the pictures show): Factory Engine Mounts: she idles exceptionally well since the new Engine mounts are the more expensive factory liquid filled versions. Drive Train idle noise: 90% of all 944s have very loud transmission bearing noises at idle, this car is absolutely quite, this is a serious rarity. In fact almost any 944 with over 60k miles will have a noisy drive train at idle. Shifter Linkage: Also the shifter mechanism is new, this tightness cannot be achieved with only replacing the bushings, many 944s have not even had the bushings done, let alone the whole linkage. This makes a big difference in the real driving experience. Cooler running: Car runs very cool at any traffic or temperature, fitted with cool running automatic Fan switch, monitors temperature very well for those hot days, runs cooler than the average 944 Turbo. Brakes: The brakes are higher than most 944s you'd drive, all new rotors/pads/cylinders/braded hoses etc. this gives the car a solid confident great driving feel. Does come with a working alarm remote, opens and closes doors remotely. Both power door locks function well. Also the electric rear hatch release button works every time. Interior : The steering wheel is factory new, not recovered or aftermarket, this mean the leather is in beautiful condition as well the horn emblems perfectly intact. Again gives the interior a fresher look. The center armrest on 90% of all 944s has one of several faults if not all of the following, cracking on top, broken plastic hinge, loose fitting latch. The arm rest on this car is like new. There is no shrinkage in the headliner or seam splittings, again most 944s at this age will have age shrinkage. Power Targa lift does works.
