This Kompressor roadster puts out 349 horsepower that is mated to an automatic with a tap shifter for extra driving fun! It is very docile but very quick when prodded! This neat little roadster has a power retractable hard top so you have the best of both worlds without even having get out of the car! This car originally had a MSRP base price before any options or freight of $55,450! This neat car has a very modern yet classical appearance to it leaving no doubt that it is a Benz, as for being rare these cars were only built from August of 2000 through March 2004 for a total of 2,056 being sent to the U.S. and only 562 for the model year 2003! The battery was replaced this week. I also replaced one of the cylinders for the top and the headliner last week at a cost of $1400. I am the second owner and have had this car for the past six years. It is fun to drive and has always been garaged. I have a Lotus Esprit and need the garage space, or I would not sell this car. Always garaged and have put less than 20,000 miles on it in the past six years. It is being relisted because the previous buyer did not follow through. The radio was replaced about a year ago and the CD player needs to be repaired. The dealer told me this week that the cost is around $300. There is a small scratch on the passenger door that was done at the dealership this week. There is also a cut in a small piece of trim on the driver's side door. The replacement part has been ordered and should be here before the auction closes. I will have this replaced before delivery. Other than these minor items, this car is in great condition. I hate to sell the car, but just don't drive it enough.
