I pulled the engine to replace the clutch, so figured id get the seals and do a re-ring when the engine was out. One of the pistons had some stress cracking, so all were replaced as a precaution. I beleive these low miles are actual due to the fact that the internals of the motor were in great shape and not heavily worn; had the motor needed additional work, i would have done it. All work was done with meticulous attention to detail (and the toyota service manual torque spec sheet). Another plus of this rust free truck---not a single bolt was broken while working on the motor! Front Axle....... new knuckle wiper seals, heavy duty half shaft seal (this solves the notorious problem of the oem seal failing and having axle grease leak into the knuckles). The spindle bearings were in spec with regards to preload, so they were cleaned, greased, and replaced. Wheel bearing were good shape as well, and cleaned/repacked with new seals. 4wd manual locking hubs function correctly. New oil. Rear Axle.... All checked out good in this department...no leaks A new breather was all that was done. New gear oil. Brakes..... Truck had a recent brake job before i acquired it, with new-looking pads and shoes. No leaks. Emergency brake functions properly. Misc..... Tires are good. Alloy wheels. Spare included. Theres a small squeak coming from the drivetrain that i believe to be the center bearing seal on the driveshaft (its been like that since i acquired vehicle, and its been on a 1000 mile road trip without issue). Bearing was checked and does turn freely with no binding. Body......Looks to have been professionally repainted before i acquired vehicle, no evidence of filler or body repairs. Bed is bedlined. Windshield is missing one piece of trim, which is sealed with black caulk. Interior.....Brown cloth bench seat is not ripped. Vinal floor covering. Aftermarket cd player. Very clean and presentable interior. Does show a little wear. I am listing this truck for my son, who needs to sell because of a cross country move. Truck is avaliable to view near Lake Geneva WI.
