This is a NO RESERVE auction. 1951 Ford Sedan. Six cylinder with manual "three on the tree" transmission. I am not sure if it is a Deluxe or Custom but title says "4DRCU" so it may be a Custom. The body is very complete and straight with no indication of Bondo or any major accident. This is not a rust free car but the floors are very solid as can be seen in the pictures. Frame, shock mounts, inner fenders are very solid. This is clearly a car that was not subjected to salt roads. The vast majority is surface rust from sitting outside for many years. Glass is decent. The car currently is not running but the engine is free turning when we put a jumper box on it and turned the key. We did not try to start it. Supposedly it was being used everyday when it was parked in 1988. Clear California title is in hand. Same title and Ca Blue Plates since 1975. The vehicle is out "of the system" so there are no fees due in California. Bumpers will need to be re-chromed. Car comes with the large rear quarter moldings that attach to the taillights but they are very rough and also need to be re-chromed.WE DO NOT ACCEPT BIDS WITH ZERO FEEDBACK UNLESS YOU CALL FIRST FOR APPROVAL. The headliner is complete and actually quite decent. I would call it "driver quality".
