Vehicle Detail

This hard to find, beautiful 1977 Triple White Champagne Edition has been owned by us since 1993 and is being sold in order to pay college tuition- we hate to see it leave. This car is in great condition. It has never been in a wreck and has been garaged the entire time that I have owned it. It was restored in 1995 less than 10,000 miles ago. Everything works great on this car mechanically and electrically. Cosmetically it looks great- there are a few small places where rock chips, etc. were touched up but are barely evident- it has a great paint job with base and clearcoat in the original color. The convertible top is in great shape and has no tears, holes, repairs, etc. and comes with a top boot. The headliner and padding are German replacements that were installed with the new top in 1995. The upholstery is in great condition and was also replaced in '95 along with the carpet and door panels. All rubber and seals are in great condition and were replaced w/ German in 1995. All glass and chrome are original and in great condition (windshield replaced in '95). The car has a AM/FM/CD player with four speakers with front kick panels so that door panels aren't ruined. The engine was rebuilt in '95 and converted to more reliable carburetion (a new German Solex rebuilt carburetor was installed in July 2012). The engine was fully tuned and inspected (new filters, lines, regulator, pump, etc) in July, all brakes were adjusted (including disc brakes) and oil changed. New tires were added in July 2012 as well. The floor pans were replaced with new ones and thus there is no rust on this car- it is solid. New rubber was installed in tie bars, new struts and shocks as well during a suspension tune-up in 2011 and clutch replacement. This car drives great and people stop us all the time to share their VW Beetle stories! Contact me at 704-517-6747 with any questions.
