1985 Mercedes 300D Turbo diesel Up for sale I have is one of my favorite, 1985 Mercedes 300d Turbo diesel. According to the previous owner, I am the third owner of the car. The previous took such great care of this car and put a lot of money into servicing it that when he sold it to me he didn’t want to pass on the service records. I owned this car since early 2008. I have a clear California title in hand registered in my name with DMV fees all up to date until next year. These models are becoming harder and harder to find in such good condition with low mileage. This is the best w123 model out there. The 1985 300d is a true pleasure to drive, compared to other w123 models and years, this model is very smooth quiet while driving. The transmission on this car shifts as smooth as knife through butter. Engine runs strong and is unmolested, has very good acceleration and plenty of power on uphill roads. This car get very good fuel economy in city and highway, on highways it easily gets 32 mpg. The suspension is very tight and car drives straight without any vibrations. The exterior is very shiny; paint has minor dents here and there and a few small scratches. Tires have about 85% left on them, new brake pads. All lights work as they should. Interior is in very good condition, all seats are very nice without tears or rips. Carpets are all good condition, all wood trim is intact, and all switches work as they should. Climate control works well and opens all vents as needed. The odometer shows original 124,076 miles. The central lock works as it should, cruise control works, A/C blows very cold, heater blows hot. Recent oil change and oil filter 76 miles ago. All new fuel filters installed. This car is in overall very excellent condition and is a rare find.
