1966 Thunderbird Town Hardtop Q-Code with Factory 428 engine. It is a rust-free California car with original interior in very good condition. It is optioned with 8-track stereo, power windows, power locks. Sequential blinkers, windows (new drivers side motor), heat and defrost (new heater core), windshield wipers (new motor), all work excellent. Everything works except for power locks, clock, and parking brake. This is a very reliable daily driver with about 8,000 miles since complete mechanical rebuild including: - 428 Engine -Full rebuild: cylinders bored 0.040 over, line hone and crankshaft balance, full valve job, RV cam -Edelbrock performer intake manifold and Holley carburetor -Accel 8.8mm spark plug wires -Pertronix ignition -All new dual exhaust (h-pipe) with dual chamber Flowmasters -Re-cored radiator -Transmission -Rebuilt C6 with mild shift kit -Suspension\Steering\Brakes -New upper and lower ball joints and control arm bushings -New front coil springs -New rear leaf springs and bushings -New inner and outer tie rod ends, idler arm and pittman arm -New steering gearbox -New oversized sway bar kit -New front calipers and rotors (pads done about 2K miles ago) -New rear drums, shoes, hardware -Other -New weatherstripping for doors and trunk -New headliner and carpet The paint and body was done 5-6 years ago, but you can see where it is starting to chip (see pictures). I have owned the car since 2003. I purchased in Sacramento, but lic. plate frames indicate it was originally sold in SF Bay Area. I do not know the original mileage as the speedometer cable was not working when I got the car. The odometer read 30,xxx when I got it, and now reads 34,xxx. The condition of the interior suggests the car has well under 100,000 miles. I estimate that I drove it 3-4,000 miles before replacing the speedometer cable. Also, it has a Sony CD player, which I installed without modifying anything. In the photos you can see the panel I removed, but it comes with the car and I can remove the CD player and install the panel upon request. It also comes with the original hood emblem and new windshield weatherstripping. I tried to include every detail possible, but please contact me if have any questions or want more pics.
