Vehicle Detail

Up for auction is a 2005 Chevrolet Corvette. I bought this Corvette on EBAY almost two years ago when it had 16,000 miles on it. The guy was selling it to pay for his daughters wedding and was selling one his garage trophies. I brought it home and put another 10,000 miles on it over the course of two years. I drove it occasionally in town whenever the weather was ideal. I changed the oil three times since I’ve owned it with Mobil One. Once when I got it (15,963 on October 2010), 5000 miles later (20,063 on December 2011) and I just changed it (June 2012 at 25,019 miles). I am particular about taking care of my vehicles because I have a vested interest in my stuff. Jiffy Lube, Just Brakes or the Dealership do not. I have the receipts and can provide them for you before or after the sale. I put new ceramic brakes on the front and rear of the car after I had the rotors turned (they are the nice cross-drilled ones) because ceramic brakes don’t make the mess like the cheap factory pads do. The guy that I bought it from put brand new is Goodyear Eagle F1 tires on it at 12,700 miles. I’ve read the reviews on them and they are pretty awesome. They were installed at Discount Tire and have a free lifetime replacement warranty. I took the car there in the spring and had them do a balance check on it (comes free with the life of the tires). There are two scratches that were on passenger side front fender. They aren’t really noticeable unless you point them out to someone but they are definitely there. That was one of the reasons that I chose a silver Corvette as opposed to a black or a red one. Black looks great when it’s shiny and clean but when it isn’t, it shows everything … including scratches. There are two of them about 1 ½ inch long. I included a picture of it so you can see what I am talking about. Other than that, everything is just the way it was when they made it. It has a Bose factory stereo with a CD changer, push button start, glass top, heads up display, heated sport seats, etc. I won’t go on and on because you know what these cars are about or else you wouldn’t be looking at mine. It’s a nice car and I really hate to get rid of it. I am moving and I rarely drive it. I am trying to avoid the “parking it in a storage unit” scene. I think it will be a nice car for the next owner in the years to come. It’s just time for me to pay it forward. I highly encourage you to inspect of the car before the end of auction because the car is sold “as is/where is” with no warranties. A $1000.00 non-refundable deposit will be required within 24 hrs of auctions end. The balance is to be paid within 7 business days. If you have any questions at all please email me. Happy bidding and may the odds be in your favor.
