Vehicle Detail
For your consideration is my original “all steel” 1937 Ford slantback Tudor sedan. I purchased it from a builder in Wisconsin about 5 years ago and have since made a host of improvements including a complete drive train change. It was a frame-off ground up build from a very solid car. Pictures and receipts will go to the new owner. The chassis was fully boxed with a new and reinforced “X” member installed. There is less than 1000 miles on the car. The new motor/trans have less than 500 miles and the car is sorted and ready to enjoy. The paint is quite nice and I’m a tough critic when it comes to describing my cars. There’s some 3 color hand pin striping on sections of the rear and front of the car. My wife calls the color sage green. The car comes with new BF Goodrich rear tires and 1000 miles on the fronts. In a matter of speaking, the car is new and fresh throughout. The cowl vent is operational and the windshield does crank out. The following is a short list of all the quality parts: · GMPP ZZ4 with Fast Burn heads rated at 385 HP · Edelbrock carburetor · Freshly built GM 200-4R, (4 speed transmission) · Removable trans brace · Patriot Full tube headers · Haneline instruments · Lokar shifter · Griffin aluminum radiator · Dual Spal puller fans · 100 Amp alternator · Fully boxed frame w/new reinforced X brace · Chassis Engineering Mustang ll front end (welded in) · 2 inch drop spindles · Power rack & pinion steering · Ididit brushed finish column · 4 wheel power disk brakes · Chassis Engineering parallel leafs (rear) · Ford 9 inch rear (3:70 ratio est) · Heavy sway bars front and rear · Full 2.5 inch coated dual exhaust w/Flowmasters · Bitchin’ products floor replacement (F&R) and firewall · New steel fuel tank · New 15x7 and 15x6 steelies · New chrome bumpers · Zoops banjo style wheel · Painless complete re-wiring · New interior including headliner, seats, door panels & carpet · Clarion AM/FM/CD My intention all along was to keep it and enjoy it now that I have it the way I want it. However, the ’33 coupe I’ve had my eye on became available and I don’t have the room or the wallet to keep them both. I have close to $42,000 in receipts not including labor. The reserve is a fraction of that number. I listed the car on EBay about 3 weeks ago. I had numerous guys inspect the car and thought I sold it 3 different times after the auction, but it's still in my garage. It has not been or is not listed anywhere else at this time. I’m holding a clear, unencumbered, signed Wisconsin title still in the builder’s name. There is a small blemish behind the American flag on the hood side panel where someone hit me with a rock or a pellet while driving to an event. Also, the emergency brake is mounted but not cabled to the real brakes. Should the reserve be met, the new owner will also get a new Sanden compressor with a Billet Specialties mount ($250). Crank pulley has 3 grooves and car was set up for the air compressor to be mounted up front on the passenger side. Heat/air was to be my final up-grade. The car will be sold with no warranty expressed or implied. I have tried to represent the car as fairly as possible. It is the responsibility of the buyer to inspect the car and ask any and all questions prior to the close of the sale. $500 PayPal non-refundable deposit is due at the close of the auction. The balance to be paid within 10 days of the sale’s closing by bank to bank wire transfer. Full payment using PayPal is perfectly acceptable provided the buyer pays the additional 3% fee.
