1948 Ford F-1 Pickup Truck - (Hotrod). This is a running, driving, 1948 Ford Pickup with a newly rebuilt 350 engine and TH350 automatic transmission. I have a clear title in my name. This is an "old school" hotrod that is almost finished. The hard works has been completed. It is a dry western truck with minimal rust. The engine bay has been cleaned. The engine has been rebuilt and has been dressed up with Edlebrock and Holley parts - four barrel carburetor, etc. Please look closely at all of the photos. This is a clean, straight, 1948 F-1, step-side, that is almost rust free. The truck starts easily, shifts properly and stops as it should. Almost all of the parts needed to complete the restoration are included. There are extra parts as well. The interior is plain, but clean and in good condition. I want to be sure the new owner knows exactly what they are getting. With this in mind, I will list the issues that will need to be addressed. 1. It needs tail pipes and mufflers. The original tail pipes are included, but a new exhaust system is recommended. 2. There is old damage in the driver's side front fender that was poorly repaired and should be corrected. Overall the truck is straight and complete, but the driver's side fender needs attention. 3. It is missing the bumpers and bumper brackets. These are readily available. 4. The driver's side door window is broken and the wind-wing has been removed. The replacement windows, new channels, and good glass come with the truck. 5. The truck is partially rewired with a new harness. The parts are there, but further wiring work is needed. 6. The hood hinges are not connected. Extra hood hinges come with the truck. The following is a list:1. A new aftermarket complete set of 12 volt gauges designed to fit in the same location as the original 6 volt gauges.2. Two new "Blue Dot" taillights with a bracket and wiring. Still in the wrapping.3. Two vent window frames. One with good glass to replace the driver's side vent window.4. A driver's side window with good glass and a complete set of new felt trim pieces.5. A new replacement drivers side window guide. (new felt in place on the guide) Still in the wrapping. 6. A new set of 1948 Ford truck windshield wipers. Still in the wrapping.7. Two sets of 1948 Ford truck hood hinges. The original hinges are still bolted to the body of the truck.8. A used air-cleaner to fit the new four barrel Edlebrock carburetor.9. A steel model of the 1948 Ford truck.These parts are wrapped securely in boxes which will be shipped with the truck. Also included are the original exhaust pipes (two of them) that will be in the bed of the truck. In Addition, all of the 6 volt wiring is boxed and will be sent with the truck.
