Vehicle Detail
1946 Ford Tudor- Hot Rod, Rat Rod, Custom, Bagged, Big Block. CAR NEEDS MINOR FINISHING. I am left unable to finish the car due to health reasons. Here is the photobucket link for more pictures. http://s947.photobucket.com/albums/ad311/MikeOrkid/the%2046/ The car is a 46 Tudor. It is channeled over a late 80s ford frame that has been extensively worked. There is a clean clear title. I will start with the frame. 70% of it is boxed. C-notched front and rear for the ability of laying the frame on the ground. Triangulated 4-link front and back. The rear is an 8.8. The front axle is a custom drop spindle tubular straight axle with disk brakes. All of the bag plates are in and welded, just need to be "finished". (cleaned up and gone over) The front of the frame is fabbed for the rad support/grill support/fender support and mounts. Drivetrain- 1971 Lincoln 460 with a c6. Runs like a champ. Shortened and welded drive shaft. The engine is sporting a weiand intake manifold and brand spankin new holley 650 w/ vacuum 2nds. The headers are custom made by me and need finish work. All welded, just need to be ground and wrapped. Also on the headers are manual cutouts. One exit it out of the front fenders as shown in the pictures, the other exits under the car to chambered thrush mufflers. I have a brand new comp cams kit with lifters in the box to go with the car and a new water pump. Body- Not much to it. VERY clean 46 body. Doors open and shut perfectly. Majority of the floors were cut out and are brand new from the channeling for the frame. There was absolutely no rot on this car to begin with. Perfect fitting hood in perfect shape. New 16 awg smooth steel firewall. Rear fenders are molded and smoothed. Smooth chin plate/bumper delete in front under the grill, and a smoothed molded rear "roll pan". Frenched 38-39 Ford taillights with blue dots of course. I custom made the dash and used the brand new dash trim kit to clean everything up. All of the gauges are new including the pinup alarm clock used for the clock side of the dash. Have all the dash and full car wiring harness. The seats are from a 67 mustang using brand new seat pans welded to the floors and tunnel. (feels amazing to sit in this car) GM column out of a late 80's Camaro. Dash supports, brake and brake supports, column supports are in and welded. The grill is brand new. Also comes with all new smoked door and rear glass and new windshield glass and seals. YES BRAND NEW GLASS!!! I also have a remote shaved handle kit. Other stuff- All new airbag parts including tank, lines, bags, etc. The pump and valves are newer. Has 4-2way valves. (controls each corner individually) New speedway gas pedal. New 12 gal RCI fuel cell. Holley fuel pump. Wheels are brand new 17" Voxx Torq Thrust style wheels. I have 2 linear actuators for the trunk and cowl vent. New in box 3" peep mirrors. Boxes of original parts and bolts. I have the factory mirror thats in great shape. New grant steering wheel. As is always said, I know Im forgetting other things. Things to be finished- The frame needs the body mounts fabbed. Relatively easy. Minor finishing on the floors (little 4 inch puzzle piece needs to be welded which I may do). Cam put in if wanted. Fuel lines and brake lines run. Wiring run. Paint. Headliner and carpet. And any other personal detail work. It would take a good fabricator less than 2 weeks taking his or her time to actually make this car streetable. To make it drive would be the mounts, shift linkage, wiring and pipes under the car. I really hate to see this go after working on it for over 2 years but my body cant take it and I need something easier to work on. Im trying to be very realistic with the price of the car. With how much time, work, and money is put into it, I think its pretty fair for how the outcome of this car is going to be. You can see all of the obvious work done and the potential of this car just by pictures. If you are really honestly interested in this car, PM me any questions and we will go from there. I personally have well over 500 hours into this monster. Im not really interested in trades, unless its driving, comes with cash, and puts a smile on my wifes face as I was building this for her. Please only PM me if your actually interested in the car. Thank you. Mike...
