You are looking a a nice 1981 Volkswagen Caddy Pickup with a much desired 1.6 turbo diesel engine with a matching 5 speed transmission out of a 1984 Jetta with approximately 83,000 mils on it. The turbo diesel engine really makes a great improvement in this pickup compared to the original 1.6 non-turo diesel. The truck was purchased from the State of Florida in March 2008. The pickup is in very good condition for a 31 year old truck minor surface rust on driver's side rear bedside, and a small hole on top of fender on passenger fender, as you can see in the pictures, truck shows 196,873. The title shows Non-Actual miles under mileage. There was an error on the odometer certification when the truck was last transferred. So title department had to check odometer discrepancy on back of the title. The 196,873 is actual mileage on truck to the best of my knowledge. Truck drives straight down the Road. I have pictures of shock towers as you can see truck is in very good shape. I had the truck serviee in May 2012. Time belt replaced and tensioner, hoses, glowplugs, valve covers set, new alternator, and alternator belt, new exhaust, new battery, oil changed. New antifreeze, brakes checked. Truck runs great, sounds great. Needs nothing mechanically. Has Recaro bucket seats that make it very comfortable to ride in. Dashboard is cracked from being a Southern truck. Tires are 80%. Could use a paint job if you are wanting to make the truck nicer looking. Sprayed in bedliner. Welcome to come and look and test drive vehilce.
