Normal 0 Up for is my 1986 Porsche 944. This is a fantastic example of these great 944’s. It is has always been professionally maintained by a trained Porsche facility. You know what they say about Porsches, buy the best one you can afford. Reason being is that there are a lot of these cars out there that were bought and trashed. No maintenance was done and run hard. This is NOT one of those cars. It has always been owned by a Porsche fanatic. This car has had one ultra high quality repaint done by one of it’s former owners that owned a high end body shop. They stripped this car of everything to do this job the right way. It looks better than some new cars I have seen. The condition of this car is absolutely amazing. Pictures do not do it justice. You really need to see it. The interior is spotless and the original leather is in amazing condition. If you are looking for a car to put away and save, this could be it. But I wouldn’t, I would drive and enjoy this fantastic car. Every time I have driven it I have loved it. I am moving on and trying to get rid of a few toys so that is why I am selling it. Mechanically this car is 100%. Starts, runs, and drives like new. Front end is tight. Shocks are great. Engine has full power. It leaks a couple drops of oil here and there but nothing that needs attention. AC works. Brakes are great. Transmission and clutch are fine. The last major service on this car cost almost $3500. At that time all the timing belts and water pump were done. Also the top end of the engine was redone. I have all the receipts for everything. The tires are new Toyo Proxes in perfect shape. Just a great, no headache car. Equipment: 5 speed, AC , power windows, central locking, factory alarm, leather seats , power driver seat, factory sunroof. Sport suspension, and more. Small issues: Remember this is a 1986 auto. It is not new. It does have some minors scuffs, a crack in the middle of the dash (typical of these cars) some small spider cracking of the driver side leather. Power mirrors do not work but do move manually. Couple of small drips from oil pan. Nothing that you wouldn't expect on a 1986 car. Someone smart will be getting a great 944 here. I do have it for sale locally so I reserve the right end the auction. Want to see it? No problem. Want to ship it? Anyway, lots of questions about maintenance have been asked so here is some more details that may be of interest. The spare tire and jack are there and look to be never used. clutch replaced along with master cylinder and slave cylinder 127254 miles battery last month oil to water cooler was replaced and updated to new style ( that does not fail) 130311 new style motor mounts were done at 107000 axle shafts both side done at 107000 console armrest was done last year shifter rebuilt 134000 rear shocks 134000 please do not hesitate to ask any other questions.
