Here we have a very cool 1968 Mustang Convertible thats was owned my a older gentlemen who was the mechanic at my work. Sadly he passed away and now this very cool car is up for sale. What I know about it is that he bought the car in 1984 off of another older man that he new. This cool Mustang has 81,823 miles on it that he said was original in fact the open title that we have from when he bought the car in 1984 says the miles were 69,000. We know that he did a complete rebuild of the original 289 engine and it runs like a top. The car also shifts great and drives and stops real good. The electric convertible top looks new and goes up and down perfect. As you can see the interior is very nice and we think it is original also. This cool car is a blast to drive. He had the car painted at some point and it shows well but by no means is this a show car but rather a VERY cool car that you can drive right away and fix it up more while having fun with it or just keep it the way it is and enjoy cruising it all over with the top down or when it gets a little cooler out pop the top up and still have a blast. The sheet metal looks to be original and the bottoms of the doors are rust free. We did just put a new battery in it as it has been sitting in our warehouse for a few years now.
