Customers met the theme with immediate and favorable response and, after more than six decades, it's still synonymous with Dodge Trucks. This truck has a 107 inch wheelbase and is rated at 2 1/2 tons. It has the big 265 CID flathead six cylinder engine, the best of Chrysler's flatheads. It has a rare "Job Rated" script grill finish panel It has the desirable Braden PTO winch. This kind of winch is ideal for prolonged heavy duty winching - the engine has plenty of power, even near idle speed, and there are no solenoids or electric motors to overheat. This one is from 1945 and is an MU5-12F. It's got an 18,000 lbs. capacity. The addition of the 5th wheel plate makes this a versatile heavy duty hauler.
