Vehicle Detail

1997 Ford Mustang Cobra NO RESERVE For sale is my pride and joy. I purchased this car from the 2nd owner in late 2010 with the intention of making it a mean street/strip ride. The last owner (who treasured this car as much as I did) had the internal engine work built early 2010 professionally (with most receipts) and worked on the car until mid year 2010 the ending result was a car that was to fast for the pervious owner and wanted something that could handle corners safer. He sold this car to me to fund his new project an AWD GMC Syclone. I purchased this car with 115,357 miles and less than 10,000 miles on the build and majority of those miles were from a trip he took to California and back. Dynojet: 630.86 HP 506.10 TQ—see picture Vehicle Modifications include: · V-7ysi supercharger pushing 20+ psi through a huge custom air to air intercooler built by extreme turbo systems w/Maxflow bv57 bypass valve/polished $445.95 /steel flange $24.95/supercharger $3300/intercooler install $1450 · pump gas tune (92) octane very streetable,($275.91) · ACCEL DFI complete stand alone computer system installed so that everything (except fog lights) work (DFI $2500) labor $760 also I have CDs you can load on your laptop if you want to plug and play; it’s an end all be all system. · Polished valve covers and upper plenum. $520 · Kooks custom headers 1 3/4 by 3 inch collector. $1000 · Aeromotive complete 4.6 mustang fuel system $1500 with stepper $260 (it keeps the fuel cool for street driving—see video I used to fog lights switch for activating the stepper)80lph injectors $450. · Borla 3 inch mufflers $264. · exhaust+ x pipe $100 · ford 8.8" Detroit truetrac limited slip,31 spline $490.labor $265 · axle shafts 31 spline.$250 · 3.55 gears $250 · New clutch at time of build grabs just a little more then stock but good for the street $300. · new radiator $350 · stock (teksid) aluminum block, six bolt mains, hardened metal sleeved cylinders with stainless steal piston rings this combo is very solid · Stock aluminum heads 32 valve, ported exhaust side to match headers. Stock cams, they are what you want for boost. Stock forged crank. · Custom upper intake. · Anderson ford power pipe $250 /k&n $52.78 · H-beam rods $369 w/ARP 2000 bolts. · head gasket kit $500 · forged 18cc dished pistons $469 w/ stainless steel piston rings $250 · ARP head and main studs $300 · new coil packs/plug wires $200 · 18by10 rear rims and 18by9 fronts nitto drag radial and nitto front rubber. $1000+ · new paint w/custom side scoops $3500 · seats $240 · synthetic lubricants · Battery relocation to trunk (NHRA approved container) with new battery (I installed the safety cutoff switch behind the passenger tail light for street use) Now the not so good: · I installed all the Autometer gauges and they all work as should except for the digital pro shift light (left gauge on dash). The gauge it self is fine it’s the Accel DFI computer shift output line. It needs to be adjusted via laptop with the include software for this type of digital gauge (something I haven’t played around with). I just last month installed the Reichard Racing manual belt tensioner (for plans of going to the track) along with a new belt, water pump, and alternator since I had everything taken apart (have receipts and originals that still work if wanted). Unfortunately now when the engine is stone cold the belt makes a slight chirp sound briefly until the engine is warm (I’m guessing a small amount of antifreeze got on the belt) I included a video of a stone cold start and you can hear the chirp if you listen closely (its hard to hear over the supercharger). This install also forced me to delete the AC system and front sway bar I still have the compressor, condenser, and sway bar if wanted. I don’t recommend getting into boost with less than ½ a tank of gas as this is not a sumped fuel tank—I just always keep fuel above the ½ way mark. This car is extremely streetable and has a very safe tune. I have put on less than 3,000 miles on the car since I took ownership and they are all STREET MILES neither I or the previous owner have ever tracked the car. The car doesn’t use any oil. The clutch grabs just as it should and the transmission shifts smoothly and doesn’t grind. This car is a head tuner. The included videos don’t due justice for the exhaust system, it sounds amazing and puts a smile on my face every time, especially when rowing through the gears! It was my intent to make this a mean street/drag strip I was planning on installing a TKO 600 transmission. I had already purchased a TKO transmission adapter plate and a new 26 spline clutch kit (see other my other auctions they are for sale!) for the swap. I’m also including in this auction: NEW maximum motorsports full length sub frame connectors (not installed),the original seats, fog lights bracket (removed for the custom intercooler),the original dash clock that was replaced for the autometer gauges, 3 new Mobil 1 oil filters, brake pads and many other miscellaneous items. I have been as honest as possible in describing my car, I never thought this day would come but here we are. I have treasured this car since day one. I am selling my car due to personal issues and there is nothing wrong with this car. Any questions don’t hesitate to contact me through e-mail or phone 509-948-0012. While I will help out as much as possible in shipping the vehicle it is the buyer’s responsibility to make such arrangements. If you have zero or negative feedback please contact me prior to bidding. Clean title in hand! High bidder will take home this 700HP beast! On Jul-08-12 at 21:22:35 PDT, seller added the following information: EDIT: Per the vehicle history report it It shows that I am the 4th owner of the vehicle. Not the 3rd owner that I stated earlier. ALSO I don't understand what "CORRECTED TITLE" means. I was never reissued a different title. Sorry for the confusion
