Has for sale this gorgeous 1959 MGA 1500 Roadster. We have just spent over $4,000 doing work to this car to make it 100% ready to be driven and enjoyed. This included pulling the engine and transmission to rebuild the clutch and the gearbox. That means that the grinding you hear in so many MGA's going into second gear has been taken care of. We will warranty the transmission for a year from the date of purchase.All those synchro's were replaced, along with the seals that so often leak. Additionally, the brake lines and wheel cylinders were replaced. This is just the tip of the iceberg in regards to the work we have done to the car: a complete invoice is available to any serious bidders. This car is best described as a very, very nice driver. The car was clearly restored sometime in the past 15 years or so. The restoration, while fresh, does show its age in a few places. There are a few small imperfections in the paint around the car. Nothing that is apparent from 3 feet away. Just small swirls and such that bump this MGA from being a show car, down to being a show-able driver. The tan interior sets off the red paint strikingly, and the tan top is icing on the cake. The car has a spare tire and original jack with it. All in all, while not perfect cosmetically, the car is ready to be driven and enjoyed. The photos do not quite do the car justice: it is simply stunning going down the road.
