I am selling my 2001 dodge stratus coupe. This car has the 3.0 liter engine. Car has a very clean interior and a nice exterior. Tires are in good shape and have a lot of miles left on them. Has a good sounding stereo and speakers in car. In the past 2 months these are the improvements Ive made to the car: Brand new spark plugs, wires, pluenum gasket, brand new starter, brand new brake pads on the front, Oil change and filter, Transmission filter and fluid. I bought the car and the transmission started acting up. So i pulled the transmission out and had it rebuilt, everything inside the transmission is brand new, including torque convertor. The car drives forward but will not backup. The transmission sounds like it goes into reverse and the engine rpm's drop a little (sounding like it goes into reverse) but it won't back up. Im not sure if its just a reverse solenoid or if the front pump isn't creating enough pressure. The car will need to be trailered, please keep this in mind before bidding. This is a pretty nice car and Id love to keep it but I just bought another car and I can't keep messing around with it. I thought about taking it to a dealer and having them put the diagnostics on the powertrain to see if it would say what exactly is wrong, but Im just not messing around with it. I have clear title in hand. I have over $3,500 into the car so Im taking a beating on selling it. Car has 127,xxx miles on it. Feel free to email with any questions.
