We have decided to offer our exceptional 1982 Fiat x1/9 Bertone for sale. Pictures will be loaded before Saturday July 1st. She is completely stock and is best suited to a knowledgeable new owner who can appreciate how nice this car is. She runs, drives and stops exceptionally well. Getting further into it that means: Starts and idles beautifully cold or hot, No smoking at startup even if sat for a week or, Also no smoking under idle when hot or even under hard acceleration All four wheel bearings smooth and quiet Rear end smooth and quite Transmission smooth and quite in all gears No play in Drive shaft when taking up drive Excellent Brakes Emergency brakes works excellent Suspension in excellent condition No vibration in Steering Exhaust system inexcellent shape no leaks Complete set of new Yokohama Tires She also comes with matching correct full size factory spare and tie down. As for electrical system, never gets a flat battery even if sits for a month, hence no drain, all lights and turn signals work including horn, hazard and dome light, And last but not least, she is a west coast car hence no rust and never been welded or patched. Cosmetically (interior and exterior) in line with the rest of the car and the pictures speak for themselves. Please note that we at Performance Vintage International (performancevintage.com ) are licensed California Classic and exotic car dealers, and will charge sales tax and state mandated transfer fees (normally less than $100 for transfer fees and sales tax based new owner’s county rate) for California buyers. All out of state buyers will be responsible for their own fees and need to pay their own state fees and taxes themselves as appropriate. She is available for any inspection at our showroom in Beautiful Sunny Cost Mesa California or at ANY REPUTABLE service garage of your choice within a reasonable radius of our showroom. Any shipping fees will buyers responsibility and you can select your own carrier and pay them directly. As a realistic note, please do remember that is a 30 year old car and is not perfect, And that due to her age, there is no warranty of any kind available or offered or implied on this car. She is not perfect and has imperfections here and there. Some or many things, items, fittings, features, mechanically and cosmetically may be worse and many will be better than you may expect !
