Vehicle Detail

1997 F250 HD 4x4 with Fisher Minute Mount Snow Plow. This is a good strong work vehicle is being sold with a low reserve as is. This truck is in fair condition body wise. I bought it in 2008 with 49k miles and used it to plow residential driveways for 3 years. 3 of the 4 wheel wells are rust free. There is some surface rust on the bottom inside of each door (see Pics). The under carriage has some rust as well . I've primed a few spots where surface rust showed in a few places. You can see this on the drivers door, tail gate and the passengers side rear wheel well. In the last two years I have put in a new Battery, Starter, Alternator, Plugs and wires, Tires (have less than 500 miles), and Windshield. Also has a sliding rear window. I added a backdrag blade to the plow. This scrapes the snow off the driveway completely in reverse without leaving packed mounds of snow. This truck was involved in a 30 MPH T-Bone accident in Dec 2009which damaged the left and right plow cylinders and the A frame on the plow. I replaced them with new components. The truck also has some damage to the Right rear Quarter panel and rear wheel well caused when the truck slid around after impact. There is also a small hole (1/2 inch) on the tailgate. Other than these, the body is in good shape. I replaced the front bumper with a generic ford bumper after the chrome bumper rusted out. Also in Oct 2010, somebody backed into the driver's side door. I replaced it with a door from a 1995 andstill have the original door. Thie engine is strong and reliable. Every now and then the idle will speed up and slow down slightly for a few minutes when the engine is cold. I believe the idle control valve being cleaned will solve this. I usually just press the accelerator in park and it idles smoothly afterward. The 4WD is working and the manual hubs lock and unlock smoothly. This truck is built so that you can add dual wheels on the rear. I have two wheels that need rubber that you can have for free. I also have a spare driver's side door that I will throw in. There are a few things that need to be replaced. Left outer tie rod, Right rear spring shackle and bracket, and the front cab mounts under the radiator. I added pics of these. This truck will go to the winning bidder and should provide years of good service. Feel free to contact me with any questions you may have.
