Rare early MGB with Overdrive and wire wheels. Original British Racing green. Hard to find like this. The car has been well taken care of and restored as needed. The engine bay has been restored with an eye for originality also down to the correct reproduction decals. Wheels have been refinished and shod with a set of correct radial tires and new chrome knock offs. Mechanically it is in great condition. Recently the entire brake hydraulic system was replaced and rebuilt. It has great oil pressure at running temp, and does not smoke. The original Full syncro trans shifts well with no bad noises or popping out of gear. Overdrive works exactly like it should. The overdrive makes a great car even metter and makes a lot of difference on the highway. Cosmetically, its in great shape as well. The paint is great having been repainted to a good standard several years back. The interior has been restored with new seats and carpet. It also comes with a rare aftermarket period Console that is easily removable, but a hard to find peice. The Conv. top is also new and is in great shape. It also comes with it's original jack and the jack bag (not pictured) It has its tonneau bars with storage bag (not pictured) and the original half tonneau cover. While not perfect, this is a very nice sympathetically restored car that has seen limited use outside of shows. Cars of this caliber rarely come up for sale.
