You are bidding on a rare 79 10th Anniversary Trans Am. This is the 4-speed version which was mounted to a 400 motor. This car is one of 1817 4-speed 10th anniversary cars, so it is pretty rare and desireable. This car is obviously a project car that needs a FULL RESTORATION. I have accumulated alot of nice parts to do this car right. The body/shell will need some work. The firewall is solid as are the rocker panels. The subframe will need to be blasted, painted and have all the bushings replaced. It appears very straight and doesn't appear to have been in an accident. The quarter panels will need some work, but i am included full quarters that should give you the necessary pieces to fix what needs to be fixed. The floors are pretty solid, including the toe panels, which always are the first to go on these. They will need some work, moreso on the passenger side right in front of where the passenger front seat would be. The Trunk pan will need some work, mostly where it meeets the tailpanel area. The doors are junk, but i'm including another set in better condition. The Frame rails look good from what i can see, there is some flaky rust in spots, but nothing appears to be rotted through or week. The tailpanel has some pretty good rot on the lower part of it, so that will need some work. The car comes with its original matching number PWH coded 400 motor and original Super T-10 Transmission. I was told by the previous owner that the motor ran, but i never messed with it. It does turn over. I would have it and the transmission gone through and rebuilt. Comes with the original disc brake 3:23 Posi rear. The Dash is all ther and UNCRACKED!! Comes with new reupholsted front and rear seats. The upholsterior kit is $1000-$1100 and then you have to pay to have them done (if you can't do it yourself). Also comes with new reproduction door panels which are $400 +. Door panels were mounted on a car for a little while, still appear new. Steering wheel is in nice shape as is the Tilt column. Below is a list of some of the parts i've accumulated for this car. I DO NOT have everything, so some parts will need to be searched for, but all the major stuff is there. These cars are going up in value everyday, even in a crappy economy. I'm not giving it away, but it is worth more than i'm asking. The car aside, i have more $$ in parts than i'm asking for the whole car with parts. Needs 2 studs replaced. Extra A/C Box w/lines. No cracks/breaks comes with extra lines. All 4-Speed parts. Shifter/linkage/z-bar/ etc...etc.... Inner Fender/radiator support splash shields rust free, very nice. New Set of Lugnuts. T-Top Trim-needs restored, no cracks or breaks. Flywheel cover, nice no cracks or breaks. Hush Panel, nice no cracks or breaks. Front License plate bracket, nice shape. Left and Right rear wheel flares, no rips/tears mounting studs are there. Left and Right Front wheel flares. Nice shape one needs one stud replaced other is good, no rips or tears. Under Glove Box Duct (commonly broke) Nice shape, no cracks/breaks. Hood latch and cable-latch is good, cable works, but doesn't look good cosmetically. Radiator Overflow bottle, nice shape, no breaks/cracks. Cowl Screen, nice shape. Pulse wiper switch and Harness, very nice shape. 400 Clutch Fan, nice shape. Deluxe map dome light, Very Nice Chrome. NOS a/c Accumulator NOS Clutch Fork Boot. Trunk Release Switch and Harness, nice shape. New Clutch/brake pedal.. Nice Dash Prism. Jack/Base/Lug Wrench/Bumper Adaptor, Nice shape. Headlight Bezels, set in the bumper/nose plus some extras. Nice T/A Dash Bezel w/lighter and rear defogger switch and bezel. New Roof Rail Weatherstripping. New Trunk lid weatherstripping. Fender Extractors, nice shape, studs are good. Nice space saver spare and 2 versions of the inflator bottle. Door Jamb Astro vents, nice. Shaker Hood-2 to choose from, both need some minor work. 4-speed Driveshaft. Dash Vent (often broke), nice shape. NOS pair of outer door handles. NOS red crest nose/bumper emblem. 2 four wheel disc brake power boosters, 1 master cylinder and 1 proportioning valve. A/C compressor and bracket, spins, unsure if it works. Pulse wiper motor, unsure if it works. Alternator, core? Starter, core? Seat track covers, nice. Delco a/m f/m cassette Stereo radio. Unsure if correct, came with car. Very Nice Trunk Lid-No rot that i can see. Very nice radiator support. No rot holes. Surface rust with some pitting. Will need to be blasted/cleaned up. Missing lower Driver side brace. Nice Piece, hard to find in this condition. Pair of Nice Power Window Doors. Full loaded. Need some work, but overall in pretty solid original condition. 4-Speed Console, decent shape. Needs restored. Has a couple splits+nicks. NOS Shifter Boot. Nice shifter bezel, no cracks/breaks. 400 Shaker Scoop Uncut, no cracks or breaks. 400 Air cleaner base and lid. Nice, clean and paint. Chrome door edge guards, pair. Nice used condition, some little dings. Air Intake Adaptor, nice shape, goes from air cleaner to flex hose. Air intake Duct, goes along inner fender, has a crack, fixable. Missing the elbow that attaches to it. NOS E-Brake Cables (rear i believe), not all of them. Seatbelts-need to be restored. Has extra blue should belt to fix one of the originals. Door Pulls-need to be redyed. Mounting holes are nice, not elongated. Pair of sunvisors. No rips or tears, passenger side vanity mirror needs to be replaced on it. NOS Tri Band (AM FM CB) Antenna. NOS CENTER SPOILER (not repro). Mirrored T-Tops. Pretty nice shape. Inner plastic trim is decent with small cracks. T-Top bags have some small holes in them, not to bad. NOS FRONT GRILLS (pair) VERY RARE. New Rear 1/4 Trim Panels, not sure if they are NOS or Reproduction. NOS Pair of Sail Panels. Pair of quarter panels cut off donor cars. Not perfect, but should be good enough to fix the quarters on the car. Possibly some more, but that's all for now.
