Vehicle Detail

Heres a TRUE SURVIVOR! A Very Rare L34 Hi-Compression Ram-Air Small Block 350. All numbers matching. Been sitting in storage for 2 years now. It is time to find a new home. This convertible has just under 98,000 miles. Drives very, very nice down the road. 2:73 gears, and ram air setup have let me have the fast take-offs and then enjoy comfortable 75-85 MPH speeds down the freeway. I have really enjoyed this car but just do not have the time or space to enjoy it. These muscle cars are only original one time. Please notice the chalk marks under the hood and the original paint that looks good from 10 foot. The Interior is in excellent condition. The seats were recovered to factory specs in 2004 as well as the convertible top and weatherstrips. $1191.00 in 2004. The convertible top is perfect. The original carpet is in nice condition. The dash is also in excellent condition. No cracks, splits, or weathering. All lights work as they should. The radio, clock, and horn are the only non-working items. Turn signals, hi beams, instruments, and guages operate fine. The annoying key buzzer and seat belt light and buzzer work fine as well. The car retains all of its original glass, as well as the rear convertible glass. I have the original window sticker, protecto-o-plate, warranty booklet, owners manual, and emissions manual. There is also a business card from original selling dealership in Milan, Indiana. The body panels are completely original with a few dings here and there. Nothing too distracting. The frame, floor pans, trunk pan, and undercarriage are in great shape. Theres a minimal amount of surface rust on the belly, but its very obvious this car has been used in fair weather conditions only. The chrome and stainless do show some signs of age. Not pitted and rusted, but some discoloration and aging. Both original bumpers are nice. No dents and dings. The original W-25 ram air hood is in excellent shape with no cracks. The rallye wheels are in great shape. They could stand to be re-painted. The center caps, trim rings, and bezels are great. The BFG tires are excellent and only have a few thousand miles on them. The drivetrain is completely numbers matching. The engine was completely rebuilt about 10,000 miles back. Runs strong with no leaks or burning oil. The engine compartment is dirty and dusty. A little detailing would do wonders. The transmission began leaking fluid in 2007 so I had it completely rebuilt. The car will always grab second when accelerated. I had both U-joints replaced at the same time. This convertible is an excellent driver. No squeaks, rattles, or pulling. It is very comfortable to drive and gets all kinds of thumbs up from people. I am only selling it because I have too many cars and this 442 sits in a storage unit. You are very welcome to come inspect it at my house in Southwest Michigan. I am offering this car in other forms of media so please understand that I may end the auction if sold prior to auction ending. Feel free to call me with any questions 269-217-7987. Please have cash in hand and be willing to send a $500.00 deposit within 48 hours of auction ending. I will store car for 30 days to meet your needs at no charge, just please be up front and honest. I have described the car well but welcome any questions that you may have. I have sold a few cars over the years here on EBAY and all has gone well. On Jun-20-12 at 14:58:41 PDT, seller added the following information:The color is Viking Blue. After many requests to "Buy Now", you are welcome to email or call me with a fair offer. I have the car listed in other places and may end it early. On Jun-27-12 at 06:18:26 PDT, seller added the following information:I had a private party third person, who has been into collector cars for many years, come for an inspection on my convertible. He stated that the car was a very respectable survivor. Some more factory markings were pointed out to me under the hood. Overall, just a really solid survivor that should warrant alot more money than 18K but todays car market says otherwise. On Jun-27-12 at 06:42:31 PDT, seller added the following information:I have tried to add a "Buy it Now" for 20K, but Ebay would not allow me to this late in the auction. I had an appraiser inform me that 20k is a fair price for buyer and seller. Call me with any questions. On Jun-27-12 at 13:36:06 PDT, seller added the following information:The rear end is a 2:73 POSI. Boxed control arms and rear stabilizer bar as well.On Jun-27-12 at 13:41:28 PDT, seller added the following information:442 is a noted factory option on the window sticker
